Our families love hearing about their child’s progress and the experiences they’re having day to day. We share these moments through centre newsletters, our Xplor App, one-on-one meetings, and at various centre events. Our educational programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and creativity through play-based experiences. During the first five years, children experience rapid growth and change. Throughout their time at our centre, children feel a sense of becoming as we prepare them for the next chapter of their journey. We have a qualified cook who cooks fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, I see children as capable, competent, and active learners who thrive when given opportunities to explore, experiment, and express themselves in meaningful ways. I value the learning environment as the third teacher, ensuring that our space is aesthetically inviting, well-organised, and filled with natural materials to encourage curiosity and wonder. My goal is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and community. By building strong relationships with children and families, I aim to support each child’s growth, laying the foundation for their future learning, social-emotional well-being, and a lifelong love of learning.

I am a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about fostering a love of learning through play-based, child-led experiences. I firmly believe that play is the most effective way for young children to learn, as it allows them to explore the world, develop language and problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their own abilities. In my classroom, play is integrated into all aspects of learning, from dramatic role-play and construction activities to nature exploration and hands-on discovery.
The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. We have completed a new yard upgrade offering children space to explore the natural constructed environment, mud kitchen, dry creek bed, and so much more. Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year.
