This gives you the opportunity to see the centre and meet the Centre Manager if you are out of area or if you can’t attend in person. As part of the Story House Early Learning STRONG Beginnings curriculum, we believe learning continues beyond the classroom. That’s why we offer thoughtfully designed take-home resources for families, supporting each child’s development through fun, engaging activities. Story House’s nature play program encourages children to explore the environment through sand, water, plants, and wildlife. Integrated into our Pathways to School curriculum, it builds curiosity and care for nature—supporting children to become strong, capable, independent, and thoughtful learners for life.
Welcoming babies and children up to 6 years, Little Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten Pakenham provides high quality care and play-based learning in an inclusive and nurturing environment. Qualified educators build meaningful relationships with children and families, to deliver tailored programs centred on the best of the Early Years Learning and Development Framework. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded Kindergarten program led by a Bachelor Qualified Teacher. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Our dedicated team of educators deliver play-based learning programs that foster a love of learning in a safe and welcoming environment.
This subsidy will be deducted from their fees in weekly installments throughout the year. My Stars offers exceptional kindergarten services in Pakenham for your little ones. If your child requires formula or expressed milk, please include that as well. All items should be packed in a clearly labelled bag so our educators can easily identify them. The kindergarten joined the Achievement Program in 2012 and has focused on improving health for areas such as healthy eating, sun protection, mental health and wellbeing, and more recently, sustainability. This journey takes place in the cosy environment of the historic buildings and playground, and is guided by a dedicated teaching staff, with both Australian and French Bilingual programs available. Our kindergarten offers engaging 3- and 4-year-old programs designed to spark learning through play. Our educational approach is based on open-ended activities, encouraging children to explore and create.

Hosting six spacious classrooms catering for children’s early education and care from 6 weeks to 6 years. Our kindergarten program continues through school holiday periods, when our Kindergarten teacher is on leave, as our co-educators are well equipped to facilitate the program as directed by our Kindergarten teacher. Our kindergarten children also have the opportunity to tend to our centre veggie patch and experience the joy that comes from using their produce in their cooking experiences here at preschool. This combined facility supports community building through the integration of infant, preschool and primary learning facilities, aligning with the Victorian State Government’s current education priorities. The design is flexible and forward-looking, catering for future enrolment fluctuations, and incorporates ecologically sustainable features.
