Lethbridge Winery has been producing an impressive range of wines for over two decades, and during that time has earned a formidable reputation. The vineyard has been James Halliday 5-star rated for a number of years and there are 20 wines available for tasting. The Friday and Saturday night dinners at the restaurant are a particular feature, serving delicious food and wine as the sun sinks over the horizon. The cider house also features an onsite restaurant with huge windows that take in the neighbouring vineyards. The menu features seafood and grazing plates as well as burgers and steaks.
The home was a high-end new build and a large cellar had been conceptualised in the design. The client was interested in meeting Josh and the rest is history. Stocked Cellar completed the job, the cellar is bouchard pere & fils chassagne-montrachet now full and looking awesome. I believe he saved my client time and money, and if the bottle we opened at handover is anything to go by -there will be plenty of great drinking to be had over the years.
Well, you’re in luck as they also offer takeaway wine & cheese platters. In charge of the winery’s food is the owner himself Tony Lee who is a qualified chef. He creates various dishes that change seasonally but always still perfectly compliment their available wines.

Started with a small tasting to sample some of the wines before heading in for lunch. While not the largest selection of choice the selection was wide enough to suit most people and food was great, also good portion size. The view from the restaurant was great and the landscaped surrounds with outdoor seating was a great place to relax after lunch. However the greatest part was the service, the staff from the tasting area to the restaurant to the cellar door cannot be faulted, it was a pleasure to see such service.
